Jsko Development Build-To-Suit program leases and builds turn-key facility
[New Britain, Connecticut – June 22, 2017] Jasko Development, LLC announces the leasing of a 4,050 SF American Family Care Urgent Care medical center at 179 Talcottville Road, Vernon Connecticut.
The Vernon center will provide x-ray services, on-site lab facilities, board certified doctors, physical assistants and a staff of 25 and will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays.
Started in 1982 in Birmingham, Alabama by Dr Bruce Irwin, American Family Care Urgent Care medical centers are considered pioneers in non-emergency room urgent care. AFC Urgent Care operator Tom Kelly says that the state-of-the-art facility expects to draw patients from Bolton, Coventry, Ellington Manchester, South Windsor, and Tolland. Mr. Kelly has cited this as a “commercial artery of Vernon which lacks medical-care alternatives”.
The Build-To-Suit program provides, at Jasko’s cost, Site Selection, entitlements, site acquisition, architectural and engineering design, engineering, permitting, utility oversight, equipment installation and turn -key construction of new medical and dental facilities for national franchisees and local professionals looking for worry-free expansion options. Tom Kelly, operator of the new AFC Urgent Care facility, and owner seven AFC Urgent Care Centers in Connecticut has previously worked with the Jasko team on AFC projects in New Britain, and Vernon.
