The Highrailer

Jasko Development doubles-down on its commitment to New Britain as construction begins on the second of Jasko's 6-story downtown mixed-use complexes. 'The Highrailer' at 283 Main Street will rise above Central Park alongside it's sibling 'The Brit' which broke ground in the autumn of 2021. The Highrailer will feature 114 market-rate studio and 2-bedroom apartment units as well as a total of 6,000 square feet of prime ground-floor retail, and high visibility, corner restaurant space. The restaurant and retail spaces are presently available. The two towering, mixed-use projects will sit in the footsteps of several century-old or long-vacant buildings on the city block bounded by Columbus Boulevard, Bank Street and Main Street. They are conveniently located adjacent to the downtown New Britain CT Fastrak station and are only a few minutes drive from routes 9 & 72. Jasko's two newest local ventures will transform New Britain's urban landscape by adding a total of 221 market-rate residential units and over 11,600 square feet of prime restaurant/retail space to the cities walkable downtown.  The Highrailer and The Brit projects will be completed in  2024
